Brian is the lead Information Security Engineer in the CyberDefense Branch at the United States Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS). He leads, engineers, and architects several of USCIS’s security efforts in Federal DevSecOps, application container and cloud security, and application security assessments.

Prior to USCIS, Brian worked at Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) in Futures Exploration, Air Force InfoSec, and CNCI-5 and 8 White House initiatives. His prior 11 year background in healthcare, commercial, and academia provided experiences in IT Operations, Risk Management, and Incident Response. He remains passionate in cybersecurity workforce development and education with non-profits and security researchers.
